How to use VCI paper adpack®
Air-resistant anti-rust paper has features such as “high anti-rust power” and “rust prevention in every corner”.
In order to maximize the anti-rust performance of such air-resistant anti-rust paper, it is necessary to use the product correctly.
We will introduce each procedure when using airtight anti-rust paper in wrapping and in sealing and sealing space treatment.
When using for wrapping
- Should be wash metal products (Remove fingerprints and dust and etc.)before packaging. In addition, cleaned metal products should be dry and packaged as soon as possible.
- VCI surface inside (Logo print is out side). VCI paper wrapping directly .(Wrapping)
- Do not place any intervention between the VCI paper and the metal product. If there is an intervention, VCI cannot be expected.
- VCI power increases when sealed.

Wrapping Process
Removes dust on the products.
*Cleaning is the first step of rust prevention.

Sealing Process
- Clean and dry metal products to remove fingerprints and dust. After drying, metal products should be packaged as soon as possible.
- Put VCI paper and metal products together in a plastic bag or non-breathable sealed container.
At this time, the distance between the rust-proof metal surface and VCI paper should be as close as possible.
We recommend this distance within 30cm and Space of the sealed container (30cm x 30cm x 30cm) use 30cm x 30cm VCI paper. - it is mandatory that the packaging is sealed. (Sealed = VCI gas does not go out)
- When metal products close contact, VCI gas not spread, and VCI paper cannot be expected for the adhesion surface.
- If the metal product adheres to a sealed container such as a plastic bag, VCI paper cannot be expected for the adhesion surface.

The advantage of VCI paper is that it has a high anti-rust effect and can be easily anti-rust.

Discoloration over time
VCI treated paper is characteristically prone to discoloration over time.
This phenomenon occurs when the anti-rust agent contained in the air-resistant VCI paper oxidizes and colors over time, and the paper itself is colored. It takes about 3 to 6 months from the production date to gradually change color (in an environment with high summer temperatures, the color change proceeds faster).
However, even if the color tone changes, there is no effect on the rust prevention effect, so you can use it with confidence.

How to store VCI treated paper safely
Keep out of reach of children.
It’s not food. Never put it in your mouth or eat VCI paper.
VCI paper is packaged in moisture-proof paper, but store the storage area away from water, not direct sunlight , low temperature and dry.In particular, wet water is prohibited. The shelf life in the unopened state is about 3 years from the month of manufacture (depending on the storage state).
